On October 31, GN BodyDoctor, the healthcare brand of GN Group (General Net), announced its partnership with Wiser Living, a U.S. distributor, marking a major milestone in their expansion into the U.S. market. The agreement, signed on October 30 at GN Group's headquarters in Daechi-dong, Seoul, sets the stage for the company's entry into the world's largest medical device market.



Preparing for U.S. Market Entry

GN BodyDoctor has been actively preparing for this expansion. With the establishment of local subsidiaries and distributors, the company has been focusing on raising brand awareness through:


  • TV commercials

  • Radio advertisements

  • Social media campaigns (SNS)


The company's strategy aims to introduce its flagship products and establish a strong foothold in the U.S.



Recent Achievements: FDA Certification & Export Deals

One of the key developments in this expansion is the recent US FDA Class II medical device certification for GN BodyDoctor's flagship products:


  • Incontinence Treatment Device

  • EMS Low-Frequency Waist Belt

  • LED Near-Infrared Fomentation Device


Following this achievement, GN BodyDoctor successfully negotiated an export deal for approximately 1,000 units.

Strategic Partnership with Wiser Living

GN BodyDoctor is partnering with Wiser Living, leveraging its local distribution network to accelerate market penetration in the U.S. The company will use both online and offline distribution channels, with plans to:

  • Complete entry into U.S. home shopping and online shopping malls by the end of this year.

  • Enter major department stores and shopping malls by the first half of next year.



Expanding Consumer Reach

To further increase brand visibility, GN BodyDoctor will:


  • Operate experience zones in major cities in California, including Los Angeles and San Francisco.

  • Collaborate with influencers to expand customer engagement.

  • Participate in major trade shows, including the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2025, the largest consumer electronics exhibition in North America.
